Introduction To Ingredients Of Acetic Acid Fabric

The main component of acetic acid fabric is acetate fiber. Acetate fiber is a kind of acetate filament fiber that can be used for spinning and weaving, which is made from cellulose (a natural substance extracted from wood pulp cellulose with the same chemical molecular composition as cotton fiber) and acetic anhydride through a series of chemical processing. It takes cellulose as the basic skeleton and has the basic characteristics of cellulose fiber; However, its properties are different from those of regenerated cellulose fibers (viscose, cuprammonia) and have some characteristics of synthetic fibers.

The magical characteristics of acetate fiber:

1. Good thermoplasticity: The acetate fiber is softened at 200 ℃~230 ℃ and melted at 260 ℃. This feature makes the acetate fiber thermoplastic, similar to synthetic fiber, and has permanent deformation after plastic deformation.

2. Excellent dyeability: acetate fiber can usually be dyed with disperse dyes, and has good colouring performance and bright colors. Its colouring performance is superior to other cellulose fibers.

3. Appearance similar to mulberry silk: the appearance and luster of acetate fiber are similar to those of mulberry silk, and the handle is soft and smooth, with the same proportion as that of mulberry silk, so the drape feeling is not different from that of mulberry silk. The fabric woven from acetic acid silk is easy to wash and dry, mold free and moth free, and its elasticity is better than viscose fiber.

4. Performance is close to that of mulberry silk: Compared with viscose fiber and the physical and mechanical properties of mulberry silk, acetate fiber has lower strength and larger breaking elongation. Although the ratio of wet strength to dry strength is lower, it is higher than that of viscose silk. Its initial modulus is small, and its moisture regain is lower than that of viscose fiber and mulberry silk, but higher than that of synthetic fiber, The ratio of wet strength to dry strength, the relative hooking strength and knotting strength, and the elastic recovery rate are similar to those of mulberry silk. Therefore, the performance of acetate fiber in chemical fiber is closest to that of mulberry silk.

Acetic acid fabric has and surpasses various properties of cotton and linen fabrics, such as moisture absorption, breathability, sweat free, easy to clean and dry, mildew free and moth free, comfortable skin fit, absolute environmental protection, etc.

Acetic acid fabric is not charged; It is not easy to absorb dust in the air; Dry cleaning, water washing and machine hand washing below 40 ℃ can be used, which can overcome the problem of silk and wool fabrics with more bacteria; It is dusty and can only be dry cleaned. It is also free from the defect that wool fabric is easy to be moth eaten. It is easy to take care of and collect. Moreover, acetic acid fabric has the resilience and smooth feel of wool fabric.

Acetic Fabric Development:

Acetate fiber has good dyeing performance, bright colors, bright appearance, smooth and comfortable properties, but low strength. The development of acetate fabric needs to "develop strengths and avoid weaknesses". Acetate filaments are widely used in clothing, furniture and decorative fabrics. Acetate filament can be used in lining, skirts, sports clothes, bridal dresses, children's clothing and T-shirts.

The woven or knitted fabrics used for clothing lining, skirts, sports clothes, bridal gowns, children's clothing and T-shirts can be 100% acetate filament, or can be blended with acetate filament, such as rayon, elastic fiber, nylon, cotton, linen, wool, silk and polyester. Velvet fabric, decorative silk, high-grade lining silk, rolled silk, fashion fabric, high-grade knitted T-shirt fabric, etc.

Woven furniture furnishing fabrics generally use acetate filament as warp and cotton yarn or rayon as weft. The decorative fabric is mostly satin, which can also be used for ribbons, artificial flowers and ties.
