Bayer Material Technology Textile Coatings: Helping Brands Improve Their Ecological Footprint
Bayer Material Science is one of the largest polymer production companies in the world, and is launching a series of brand new Impranil series PU dispersions to meet the textile industry's higher requirements for material function and sustainability.
Bayer Material Technology is gradually launching a series of waterborne biological polyurethane (PU) dispersions based on the brand name of Impranil eco materials.
The renewable content of this material is as high as 65%, so this series of products can further reduce carbon dioxide emissions, thereby improving the sustainability of waterborne PU materials again.
Bayer Material Technology displayed the research and development results respectively at the European coatings exhibition held in Nuremberg, Germany in from April 21st to 23rd and the international industrial textiles and nonwovens Exhibition (Techtextil) held in Frankfurt, Germany in from May 4th to 7th.
These products belong to the INSQIN waterborne PU textile coating fabric project.

Ni Gule, Nicholas Smith, general manager of textile coatings industry, said: "sustainability has already become one of the important considerations for consumers to make purchase decisions, and the textile industry is also placing it in the first place.
Impranil eco materials can help manufacturers, OEM manufacturers and brands improve their ecological footprint.
The first batch of products of this series is specially designed for clothing, accessories and footwear industry, and will help all sectors of the industry to optimize sustainable development.
Manufacturers will be able to produce synthetic materials and coated fabrics with a large number of renewable components in every layer of materials.
Its performance is comparable to high-end traditional products, and its bio based materials can be immediately adopted without remixing.
In addition, the source of these biological materials will not conflict with the human food chain, which is also very important.
Collaboration is the key to disruptive innovation.
Mr Ni Gule said: "we believe that disruptive innovation will increasingly depend on close collaboration with excellent partners, whether they are upstream or downstream of the value chain.
In Impranil
Renewable raw materials
We are very pleased to be able to work with BioAmber, a leading technology company, to supply these important materials reliably and adequately.
On the other hand, we will continue to work with the well-known enterprises in the lower reaches of the value chain to maximize the potential of our technological innovation.
Strengthening the development of new products in the field of customized textiles
In addition to biobrand products, Bayer Material Technology is launching a series of brand new Impranil series PU dispersions, extending the application scope of INSQIN technology released last year.
At the same time, a set of services has been launched to meet the higher requirements for the material function and sustainability of the textile industry.
Impranil DAA is specialized in developing intermediate coatings for clothing and footwear industry.
The product can be used to produce softer materials and maintain this characteristic at low temperature. This is what the clothing industry has long dreamed of.
The application field of athletic shoes is especially strict on the performance requirements of materials.
Impranil DLE helps to develop shoe upper materials that meet the highest technical specifications in the field, especially in terms of adhesive strength.
On the other hand, the automotive industry will also benefit from the new Impranil DLC-T product.
With this product, a special automobile interior material can be produced. It has not only the ultra matte surface sought by the industry, but also the surface.
High wear resistance
It is resistant to hydrolysis, light and heat resistance.
