China Institute Of Dress Culture Was Founded In Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology.

In September 25th, the founding ceremony of China Academy of dress culture was held at Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology. Mr. Ma Shengjie, a member of the Party committee of the Party committee, a member of the National Museum Research Institute, a member of the Central Museum of history and culture, and Mr. Sun Ji, vice chairman of the national cultural relics appraisal commission, are professor and doctoral tutor of the Department of history, Faculty of Humanities, Tsinghua University. Mr. Peng Lin, director of the International Federation of Confucianism, Mr. Xu Wanbang, Professor of Minzu University of China, Professor Liu Yuanfeng, doctoral tutor, Mr. Liu Yuanfeng, director of Dunhuang fashion culture research and innovation design center, Mr. Zhao Lianshang, Institute of history of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and college students attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, President Jia Ronglin introduced the main personnel composition of China Clothing Culture Research Institute. After discussion and research, Ma Shengjie, Secretary of the Party committee of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, served as the vice president of the Chinese Academy of dress and culture, Jia Ronglin, vice president of the Chinese Academy of dress and culture, Zhao Lianshang, Professor of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, doctoral tutor of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Zhao Lianshang, distinguished professor of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology, National Museum Research Fellow, member of the Central Museum of history and culture, deputy director of the national cultural relics appraisal commission, Sun Jian, Professor of the Department of history, Professor of the History Department of the school of humanities, director of the International Federation of Confucianism, Peng Lin, Professor Xu Wanbang, Professor Yu, doctoral tutor, Liu Yuanfeng, director of Dunhuang fashion culture research and innovation design center.

Ma Shengjie, Dean of the Institute of Chinese clothing culture, said that under the premise of vigorously carrying forward the fine traditional Chinese culture, it is necessary to contact and integrate the domestic and foreign clothing culture to study the high-end academic resources. Through in-depth study of the clothing culture, we can explore the theoretical system of the historical development of Chinese clothing. It is the purpose and direction for the future development of the academy to promote the ancient and splendid clothing culture to better serve the national image and serve the people's life. It is also an important part of Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology's "Chinese clothing culture research project". In 2017, Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology implemented the "Chinese clothing culture research project" for the first time. Through comparing the research status of ancient, modern, and foreign countries, we made a comprehensive analysis from the aspects of research theory, research content, research perspective, research methods and so on. Although academic circles have made remarkable achievements in research, there is still a long way to go compared with the vastness of Chinese costume history. The research of clothing theory still has a long way to go. The main problems are reflected in four aspects: first, the core theory and system structure of Chinese dress culture have not been established; second, the research content of the overall clothing culture is not full enough; third, the perspective of dress culture research is too simple; fourth, the research methods are lack of multiple combination mechanism. The development of "Chinese clothing culture research project" can restore the original appearance of Chinese clothing, enhance cultural self-confidence, inherit Chinese dress culture, boost the Chinese excellent culture "going out", enhance the level of artistic theory construction, make up for the lack of research, provide theoretical basis for the innovative design of "National Costume" in the new era, and provide important intellectual support for the development of traditional culture industry. The establishment of China Academy of dress culture provides solid talents and theoretical foundation for this purpose.
